Partridge Hill Gardens Introductions

Ellen Laprise has been hybridizing beautiful daylilies since 1992. Carefully choosing her seedlings' parents for color and vigor, Ellen’s goal has been to combine beauty with excellent performance. ISABELLE ROSE (Laprise ‘09)

Named for my beautiful granddaughter, Isabelle Rose Thomas. A long blooming, pale yellow cascade, with an extended green throat, bleaching out to near white by noon,
diamond dusted, with little ruffles on curling petals and sepals. $250.


BOB  MARLEY  (Laprise  2007)

Tetraploid, 7” flower, 36” tall, SEV, M, 3– way branching, 23 buds, Unusual Form Variable Crispate


BOB MARLEY is named in honor of the late Robert Nesta Marley, a brilliant revolutionary reggae artist from Jamaica whose music is still heard around the world. Twenty five percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Rita Marley Foundation and the plant will be displayed in Jamaica at the Bob Marley Museum. Winner of the 2006 Stanley Saxton Award at the 2006 AHS National Convention. Brilliant orange with a orange red eyezone above a green throat and very fertile both ways. A real standout! $150 SF


FLAMING FLAMINGO (Laprise '07)

(FLAMING FIREBIRD X PRIMAL SCREAM)

Tetraploid, SEV , 42" tall, 7" bloom, M-ML , 3 –way branching and 25 buds.  Unusual Form Variable Crispate.

FLAMING FLAMINGO was named by my friend, Nina Lapierre, of Massachusetts.  The color is brilliant orange with a raised glossy red eyezone. The petals are ruffled and sepals have a small ruffle.  The pollen is fertile, but a difficult to set pods.  As the day goes on, it starts to twist, turn and pinch.  Outstanding !  FLAMING FLAMINGO  $125
